1. Introduction
FrameHub ("App", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have when using the FrameHub app.
2. What Data We Collect
Data we DO NOT collect:
- We do not collect or store your photos
- We do not have access to the content of your albums
- We do not track your location (unless you enable weather slates)
- We do not collect personal data for marketing purposes
Data that may be processed:
- Device Identifier: A randomly generated identifier used for syncing between devices via iCloud. It is not linked to your identity.
- App Settings: Preferences such as display duration, transition effects, night mode schedule - synced via iCloud.
- Location (optional): Only when you enable weather slates with automatic location. Location data is used solely to fetch weather forecasts and is not stored.
3. How We Use Data
- Settings Sync: We use iCloud to sync settings between your Apple devices.
- Remote Control: The device identifier allows controlling one device from another.
- Weather: Location (if shared) is used solely to display current weather on slates.
4. iCloud and Synchronization
FrameHub uses Apple iCloud services for:
- Syncing settings between devices
- Remote control (sending commands between devices)
- Storing info slate configurations
Data stored in iCloud is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Photo Access
The app requires access to your photo library to display the slideshow. Important information:
- Photos are processed only locally on your device
- Photos are never uploaded to our servers
- We do not have access to your photos
- You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings
6. Calendar Access
If you enable calendar slates, the app may request access to your calendar. Calendar data:
- Is processed only locally
- Is used only to display upcoming events on slates
- Is not transmitted or stored anywhere
7. Advertisements (Free Version)
The free version of the app may display ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. The Pro version contains no ads.
8. Analytics
We do not use external analytics tools. We do not track how you use the app.
9. Security
We use standard Apple security measures, including:
- iCloud data encryption
- Secure communication via HTTPS
- iOS app sandboxing
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke consent for photo, calendar, and location access in iOS settings
- Delete data from iCloud by signing out of your iCloud account
- Delete the app, which will remove all local data
11. Children
FrameHub is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this document.
